Welcome to the largest database of bark beetle records, images, and related data. The bulk of the data were collected over many years by Dr. Thomas Atkinson in leading museum collections; Sarah Smith added lots of the images. The original dataset remains available at BarkBeetles.info. This present database is a new and updated version, prepared and curated by Tom Atkinson, Andrew J. Johnson, Eric Kuo, and Jiri Hulcr, with technical execution by Dust Productions.
